At Bee Elevated Holistic Health, I offer a calm, nurturing space where you can step away from the demands of appointments, treatments and everyday life, and simply take a moment for yourself.
Oncology massage is a highly adapted form of massage therapy designed to support people affected by cancer. It uses gentle, considered techniques and an individual approach, taking into account your treatment, health circumstances and how you are feeling on the day. For some, massage may provide a peaceful opportunity to rest and reconnect with their body. For others, it may simply be about experiencing safe, compassionate touch at a time when their body has been through so much. This is not about treating cancer itself. It is complementary care, offered alongside your medical treatment and with your wellbeing at the heart of every session. Based in Holbury near Hythe, I also welcome clients from across the New Forest and Southampton area, with appointments also available intermittently in Milford-on-Sea. A Quiet Place to Pause.

A cancer diagnosis and its treatment can change so much — physically, emotionally and mentally. There can be appointments, decisions, uncertainty and an endless stream of things to think about. Your body may feel different. You may feel tired, overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, or simply in need of some gentle care. Oncology massage offers something different: a quiet space where there is nothing you need to achieve. Your treatment is adapted around you. Pressure, positioning, pace and techniques can be carefully modified according to your individual circumstances, treatment history and current wellbeing. Whether you want to talk, sit quietly, listen to the sounds around you or simply close your eyes and breathe, there is no expectation of how your session should be. You can arrive exactly as you are. My intention is to create an environment that feels peaceful, natural and grounding — somewhere you can feel listened to, respected and cared for. Oncology massage is not a replacement for medical treatment and does not treat or cure cancer. Where appropriate, I may recommend that you speak with your oncology team or healthcare professional before receiving massage..

Why Oncology Massage Matters to Me......

A service born from listening, compassion and a desire to help' My decision to train in oncology massage began with the people who were already coming to me. I received a number of enquiries from people living with cancer who were looking for gentle massage, comfort and support during their health journeys. It made me realise just how important it was to be able to offer this kind of care — and to do so responsibly and safely. I have also experienced cancer and grief personally, as so many of us have in one way or another. Those experiences have given me a deep appreciation for how much a person can carry when navigating illness, uncertainty, loss and change. But personal experience alone isn't enough. I wanted to develop the knowledge, understanding and practical skills needed to work appropriately with people affected by cancer. That's why I chose to undertake specialist oncology massage training, including the additional learning and assessments required to provide this service safely and thoughtfully. Whether you are currently undergoing treatment, living with the effects of treatment, recovering, or finding your way through life after cancer, I hope to provide a little space for rest, comfort and upliftment along the way.
